Ukraine of my dream

If you can dream it, you can do it.
Walt Disney

Can the Ukrainians dream? Having faced the music of the world’s community, Ukraine, however, has been experiencing the economical turn-down, chaos in political life and high crime rates in the social sphere. Surely, we are all working our finger to the bone to build a prosperous future for our Motherland. Unfortunately, success seems to be less achievable than failure. Maybe we should dream the victory and, as a matter of fact, by the next day a way out will have been found! Let’s try, shall we?
To be honest, nothing should be changed in our country: neither the geographical location nor the culture. Nothing but someone ought to be renovated – our nation! Please, don’t accuse me of being an ingrate or possessing little patriotic feeling. In my dreams, the Ukrainians have reconsidered their values and switched from the immoral way of life to the humanist perspectives. Yes, I want us care about friendship, love, and respect instead of becoming on the top of the world, zooming up a career ladder and aiming to come off the gamble “from rags to riches”!
Do you remember the last time you helped an octogenarian or painted the town red with your friends? If it’s a dilemma for you, then something must have gone wrong at some point in your life.

Generally, Ukraine has got everything to wish for: a remarkable historical background, picturesque sites, authentic language and traditions, outstanding cuisine and jovial people. We are a distinct nation – only Ukrainians can be the strongest and the most beautiful in the world, our language is considered to be a runner-up in the rate of the world’s most harmonious ones. Is there anything else to dream about? The more we try to look like someone the less unique we turn out to be!

What makes the dreaming pleasant is the ideal world created by our mind. Dear Ukrainians, let us be vigilant and thoughtful! Ukraine is this dream! No doubts that we will manage to make it come true!
